Who are we?If you're not already in the know, Midlands Rush is a local radio station based in Shropshire who bring a mixture of Underground and Commercial Dance sounds including Drum & Bass, House, Trance, Bassline House, Hip Hop, Funk, Hardcore and Techno to your radio. It was the brainchild of a few individuals who were fed up of the lack and dismissal of variety of music on Radio - these missing genres taking dancefloors by storm. Founded in October 2006, the station has been broadcasting over a year and half through times both hard and good, to provide a service that is catered no where else in the Midlands. We have built up a massive audience from all areas of the UK, mainly 14-30 year olds who tune in most weekends. We also have listeners who tune in the World-over via the Internet. With over 20 DJs who represent the Underground Scene in Shropshire and the Midlands, bringing what's being played on the dancefloor to the listener's radio, Midlands Rush is seen as the keystone in the bridge that is the Shropshire music scene. |
