Raided (Added 13 Feb 2008 by Midlands Rush)
Thursday 24th Jan at approx 6.30 PM - Midlands Rush experienced their second raid by the authorities in a year and half of being on air.
The studio and the rigsite were taken over, and an individual were taken for questioning.

Firstly we have to say a massive thanks to all of the DJs who played over the festive period, and to all the listeners who were locked on throughout!
Midlands Rush is undergoing a few changes this year which we think you'll like... more shows, a diverse range of styles, with that same vibe.
Don't forget, we are in association with Energized and U-Like down the Buttermarket in Shrewsbury this Saturday (12th Jan 08) for a mixup of Underground Dance Music. Entry and drinks are easy on the pocket so get down!

Major Raid (Added 14 May 2007 by Midlands Rush)
On Thursday 3rd May 2007 just after 12pm, the Midlands Rush studio was raided by DTI officials and Police after just three weeks at the new location. No idea as to why a raid came that quick, but Decks, CDJs and other equipment was ciesed, along with the transmitter site being trashed too.
So, just incase you're wondering where we are, that's what officially happened.

Nearly Summer (Added 25 Apr 2007 by Midlands Rush)
Easy people!
It's getting warmer out there now, so crack out the beers and kick back with Midlands Rush taking you through the summer.
Just a couple of updates for you:
We're now back on 88.0 after Whitchurch FM were designated 87.9. They will most likely be on sometime again this year, so be prepared when we move again for them.
The site has been a bit ropey over the past couple of weeks... a load of e-mails have gone missing, the discussion board hasn't been accepting people correctly and audio has gone walkies. All problems have now been sorted so it won't happen again, but:
- If you registered to the forum and haven't had an e-mail back confirming your registration, drop an e-mail to general@midlandsrush.co.uk with the subject 'Board Verification' followed by your username. We will then activate your account ASAP.
- If you have sent us an e-mail to general@midlandsrush.co.uk, it's probably gone walkies. Send it again to us and we'll get back to you.
Also big apologies go to listeners of Saturday and Sunday, unfortunately the power blew in the studio so we had to use backup power. This is why we were going off and on and there were no adverts running that weekend. This is now sorted though, although the lights are another matter

Temporary Frequency Shift (Added 04 Apr 2007 by Midlands Rush)
Just a quick note people that we will be moving frequency for a couple of weeks due to Whitchurch FM broadcasting on 87.9.
We will be on either 88.1 or 87.6, so check either of these two, and keep locked for updates. May we also wish Whitchurch FM every success in their broadcast.

Apologies for being off air for the past month, but we're back full bore on 88.0!
The site has suffered a bit of neglect over the past month whilst we've been getting everything ready to come back. If you're liking the new logo, that's the creative works of Marts from Krooz.co.uk so a big thanks going to him, and a hello going to the Krooz.co.uk members!

Discussion Board Problems
Apologies go out to the people who have signed up to the Discussion Board and haven't recieved a verification e-mail. This should now be working (the internal mailer on the board seems to have died) so there should be no further problems to new users. However, if you've signed up and you still can't get in, please drop an e-mail to board@midlandsrush.co.uk with the subject 'Board Verification', with your user name and e-mail address in the contents of the message.
Rinsing it on Thursdays
We are going to start adding Thursdays to our lineup, so if you want the chance to DJ for us, why not drop us an e-mail on general@midlandsrush.co.uk? We want to know a bit about yourself and it might be useful to include a contact number so we can get hold of you.

The lineup is now available for all to see too in the Lineup section.
